FAQs
Where are you located?
I am currently providing virtual psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and adult family members residing in New York State. I offer 45-minute individual therapy sessions and 60-minute couples therapy sessions. Video sessions are conducted using the secure, HIPAA-compliant platform, Simple Practice.
What are your rates?
My rates vary by appointment type. Please contact me to discuss my rates for the type of support you need. I reserve a limited number of time slots for clients needing a sliding scale for financial reasons.
What is your cancellation policy?
Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, I require at least 24 hours notice to avoid being charged for the session. I offer the option to make up any late cancelled sessions later in the week.
Do you take insurance?
While I do not currently accept insurance, if your health insurance plan includes out-of-network benefits, I will provide documentation to submit for reimbursement on your behalf.
To check if your plan includes out-of-network benefits, you can call your insurance company and ask the following questions:
Do I have out-of-network mental health insurance benefits?
What is my out-of-network deductible and has it been met?
What are my out-of-network benefits for a teletherapy office visit for routine behavioral health services?
Do my benefits provide coverage for individual therapy (procedure code: 90834) or couples therapy (procedure code: 90847)?
What percentage of the psychologist’s fees will the insurance company reimburse for outpatient psychotherapy?
